Lake Liddell is located approximately 15 kilometres south of Muswellbrook, just off the New England Highway. Covering some 1,133 hectares, Lake Liddell provides recreational boating and fishing having been stocked with Australian Bass. There is a boat to launch your boat from and there are no boating restrictions on the lake.
Lake Liddell not only offers fishing, it has a bird sanctuary, picnic/barbeque area, an oval, tennis courts, ample parking, kiosk and toilets and showers. Gates to the recreation area do have opening and closing times so please be aware of these when planning your trip. Camping with caravan access is permitted on site, however, fees do apply.
