Shark Bay is a small, semi-secluded beach next to the southern break wall of the Evans River.
It is very popular with board riders and families with small children.
The board riders like riding the waves that sweep around the headland on the early morning rising tides.
Families with small children like the beach because it is much easier to keep an eye on your children as the beach is hemmed in on both sides with rock walls. The car park is extremely close by making the walk to the sand much easier is a cement pathway.
When there is a high tide though, the beach will most probably be covered in water.
